31 tons of low-quality and expired medicines, food, sweets, detergents, as well as without a certificate of conformity were destroyed in Sughd Province
According to State Supervision Service for Health Care and Social Protection of the Population, over the last two months of this year 1094 kg of foodstuffs and 2400 kg of detergents were found in the warehouses and shopping centers, which were smuggled into the country.
During the first 11 months of this year, 24 thousand kilograms of low-quality and expired food products have been confiscated from the trade and storage centers.
After the conclusion of the court and the relevant authorities, all these substandard products were destroyed in the urban waste collection area by burning.
During investigations, responsible persons argued that companies importing goods and sellers should prioritize the health of the nation and refrain from introducing and selling substandard products.
