In order to implement the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, Head of the Working Group on the 30th Anniversary of the State Independence in Khujand Nasim Olimzoda and Chairman of the Khujand city Maruf Muhammadzoda visited a number of disabled, including Umeda Zaripova, Amirjon Rahmatov, Hasan Shermatov and Zuhro Shermatova.
It was noted that the social protection of the population, including persons with disabilities, is one of the important and main directions of the Government’s policy.
Since independence, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has undertaken significant measures to ensure social protection of the population, especially disabled persons. In particular, a number of state benefits and social guarantees for disabled people are established in accordance with the current legislation.
The disabled and their relatives expressed their gratitude to the President of Emomali Rahmon for such attention and care.
