Today, there are 205 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan. The total number of infected individuals now stands at 1729. Fourty-one individuals could not recover, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.

So far, 4,016 people have undergone medical supervision, with 407 people having been discharged in the last 24 hours.

The government and the Ministry of Health are continually implementing measures to curb the spread of the virus, including by temporarily closing non-essential businesses, but caution is urged. The public is told to forgo unnecessary trips to other cities and regions, and if possible, to remain at home.

The Health Ministry urges all the country’s residents to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene, wear protective masks, keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between one another, and in case of onset of symptoms to immediately consult a family doctor or call the hotlines (311 or 511) to consult with a specialist.
