Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the newly appointed Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office for Tajikistan Victor Olsavszky.
Abdullozoda congratulated Olsavsky on his appointment as Head of the WHO Country Office for Tajikistan and wished him success in his work.
Abdullozoda informed about the situation with the COVID-19 in Tajikistan and said that, fortunately, no new cases of the disease have been registered since the beginning of January.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further strengthening cooperation.
