In order to implement sub-clause 5.6 of clause 27 of the National Action Plan for 2024 and in the framework of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, approved by the Government of Tajikistan on February 27, 2020, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population established a Establishment of a Working Group on the Implementation of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health in Tajikistan. In this regard, the order of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population dated October 15, 2021 was approved.
The working group consists of the Deputies Minister, heads of a number of departments and sectoral services, industry specialists and representatives of public organizations.
Based on the minister’s order, the working group was instructed to establish an interdepartmental (interagency) working group and develop an action plan for the introduction of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
Also, as part of the National Action Plan for 2024, the working group instructed to take the necessary measures to gradually introduce the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, and complete other planned activities.
