The meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Implementation of the “Program for the Rehabilitation and Social Integration of Minors in Institutions of Deprivation of Liberty or Restriction of Liberty for 2020-2024” was held on January 21.
It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Shodikhon Jamshed, members of the Interdepartmental Working Group, representatives of the Ministries of Justice, Internal Affairs, Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population, Education and Science, as well as representatives of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
It should be noted that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population has been identified as a coordinator for the implementation of this program, and according to the action plan, 14 items were assigned to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population, 3 items to the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population, 5 items to the Ministry of Justice, 1 item to the Ministry of Education and Science, 1 item to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 3 items to the Working Group.
According to the action plan, in 2021 it was planned to implement 9 items, and taking into account the implementation of measures for 2020-2021, the implementation of one event continues. Other items are fulfilled by 99%. The work is underway to implement item 6 in connection with the development and adoption of indicators and monitoring mechanisms.
