On March 7, the meeting of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Olimzoda Nasim Khoja, with the General Director of the French Foundation “Meriyo” Benua Mercer was held at the Ministry of Health care and Social Protection of Population of the country.
Also Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Tajikistan Yasmin Geudar, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of Tajikistan M. Kamolzoda, Head of the International Relations Department R. Rakhimova, Director of the National Public Health Laboratory H. Karimzoda and expert of the French Embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan O. Vanselo attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Olimzoda Nasim Khoja stressed that cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the French government in the field of health and social protection of the population is developing from year to year that it demonstrates from the special attention of the leadership of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the “Meriyo” Foundation and the parties expressed their satisfaction with the meeting.
The cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and the “Meriyo” Foundation contributes to the expansion of national public health research capabilities.
It should be noted that the contribution of French specialists to the training of Tajik doctors for using the up-to-date technology and new methods of diagnosis is enormous.
