On January 27, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda received the Global Fund delegation in Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on the mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the Ministry and the Fund.
The parties expressed their interest in further expansion of cooperation.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and the Global Fund cooperate on the prevention of infectious diseases, such as AIDS and tuberculosis.
To date, the Global Fund in Tajikistan has done significant work to reduce the incidence of HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis.
The Global Fund delegation in Tajikistan also met with the representatives of government of Tajikistan, as well as organizations and institutions involved in the prevention of HIV and tuberculosis.
